The Big Day

The big day has come, for us students who's been excited and prepared for the upcoming Immersion. It's been a while when we heard about the said activity that we students of Grade-12 Senior High School will be experiencing an Immersion as part of the curriculum. Everyone is happy and excited to grab the opportunity, aside from the new experience we will gain our knowledge will be expand and our skills will be enhanced.

Last Monday all the students who will be immersed at Provincial Capitol are send for an orientation at morning, and in the afternoon we are introduced to our supervisors. I feel so excited and nervous at the same time especially that I am going to be immersed at the Information Technology Communication and Development Department (ITCDD). Since its our first day our instructor tour us around the related department of ITCDD where we are being introduced to the personnel, some of them shares their experiences and valuable tips that really help us. On that day I realized that being on their shoes is not an easy thing, each employee and their functions is very important in running Government offices and other agencies.

Having an Immersion as part of the K-to-12 program is really a good activity, the experience, knowledge, and lessons that you'll gain will be worthwhile even though it is just for 10 days. I know the allotted time for the Immersion is very short so we should treasure and enjoy every moment that we spent with our Immersion, we should take it seriously and value everything that we learn.
